Hey, I'm Lali.

Based in South Canterbury I enjoy capturing the beautiful New Zealand scenery and beautiful moments of children and between family and friends.

I first got into photography as an occupation during high school, initially, I stuck mainly with nature photography and now enjoy traveling around New Zealand to see what beauties I can find while also expanding my horizons to portraits, family/friends shoots, and even architectural. 

 

I currently shoot with a Canon EOS RP full-frame mirrorless camera and I have developed my own presets with my personal style of editing.

I often get asked where the name Boketto comes from, and the truth is that I really just like the Japanese definition of the aesthetic verb; "the act of gazing vacantly into the distance without a thought"

This is often how I find myself during shooting, just in the moment, enjoying whatever is in front of me.
